We service and repair

The London Cycle Workshop is primarily a workshop open for servicing and repairs. We are capable of servicing and repairing all types of bikes and are well known for our on the spot repairs to keep people cycling with minimal fuss. We have professional workshops staffed by experienced and qualified bike mechanics who all love bikes (of all shapes and sizes!) and are keen lifelong cyclists with a wealth of experience.

How does it work?

The system is simple. There is no appointment or diary system so you can drop your bike in anytime without calling ahead. We will assess the bike with you, agree the service or repair work that needs to be done and record the details on our system. You specify your preferred collection date and we will do our best to accommodate you. We will phone or text you when the job is done to confirm the bike is ready to collect, or with any questions we may have. Payment on collection. Simple.

Servicing price info

Our service labour rates are based on the job not on the time and parts are charged on top without extra fitting fees. If additional work is needed we will contact you to discuss before proceeding. Quotes are available upon request when you bring your bike in. If you provide all of your own parts to be fitted, then expect to be charged a surcharge, local shops are not fitting services for the internet and we will not warranty parts not purchased from the shop.

Free courtesy bikes

If you are reliant on your bike on a daily basis it can be hard to schedule time to be without it. For our service customers we offer free courtesy bikes in all of our shops which are free to borrow while your service is completed, (subject to availability). They are hybrid bikes equipped with mudguards, lights and a lock. Please be prepared to sign a basic hire agreement when taking a courtesy bike.
