how does it work?

While some seat posts can be removed with a bit of strategic lubrication and know-how at any one of our four stores, the Master Workshop at our Ealing Branch is the only one currently equipped to get even the most seized post out of a frame. Bring your bike in and leave it with us for a few days and we will get your post out, clean up the inside of the seat-tube, grease the post and reinstall the old post or fit a brand new one for you.

Whilst we have yet to be beaten by a seat post, we cannot guarantee that the old post will be usable and we will advise you if we think the old post will be more troublesome in the future.

IS your seat post stuck?

You are not alone! This is incredibly common with bicycles that are used in humid or wet conditions, so common in fact that we have designed and manufactured our own specialist tool that we use to remove seized seat-posts in a non-destructive manner.

Most seat posts get stuck because they are either poorly lubricated, left in place for years on end, or have corroded and seized into the material of the frame. We have a tool that applies linear pressure through the seat post whilst putting as little pressure on the frame as possible.
