Prices are for labour only and do not include parts.
TLCW GENERAL SERVICE - £70
OUR MOST POPULAR SERVICE - This service is our main service. It includes the following:
Wheels are trued, hubs are checked for play and adjusted if needed.
Headset and bottom bracket are checked for play and adjusted if applicable.
Gears are tuned and indexed, cabling and parts replaced as needed.
Brakes are balanced and tightened, cabling and pads are replaced as needed.
Nuts and bolts are checked such as crank, stem and handlebar clamp.
Tyres are inflated, drivechain is lubricated and the bike is cleaned and test ridden.
Good for: All bikes at least every six months to keep things running smoothly.
ELITE ROAD SERVICE - £130
A service dedicated to road bikes with integrated components and disc brakes.
Drivechain removed and degreased.
Brake rotors and calipers cleaned, brakes bleed if needed, pads cleaned / replaced.
Headset and bottom bracket bearings checked, cleaned and greased.
Then the bike is serviced as per a general service and test ridden.
Good for: Road bikes with integrated cabling and disc brakes needing some TLC.
COMMUTING SERVICE / DEGREASE SERVICE - £95
This service is a partial strip down of a bike with the degreasing of parts. It includes the following:
Drivechain and brakes are removed and thoroughly degreased in a stand-alone dedicated parts washer. This is the best method of cleaning off all of the road dirt and grime, and is excellent at freeing up seized or sticky parts.
When clean, parts are lubricated as needed and refitted.
The bottom bracket is removed and the frame threads are cleaned and greased.
The bike is then serviced as per a general service and test ridden.
Good for: Bikes used regularly to commute in London. Bikes that need a thorough clean.
STRIP AND REBUILD - £175
This service is a full strip down of a bike to a bare frame. It includes the following:
Bike stripped to a bare frame, frame and fork cleaned and checked.
Headset and bottom bracket are removed, their condition is checked, they are greased and refitted.
Wheel hubs are disassembled, checked for damage, cleaned, greased and reassembled.
Drivechain and brakes are degreased and serviced.
Then the bike is serviced as per a general service and test ridden.
Good for: Restoring your bike to its former glory, recommended annually depending on usage.
CUSTOM BIKE BUILD - £250
A full customer bike build. Please get in touch to discuss.
SINGLE SPEED & FIXED WHEEL SERVICE - £60
This service is for single speed and fixed wheel bikes. It includes the following:
Drivechain is stripped and degreased.
Bottom bracket is removed, frame threads are cleaned and degreased.
The bike is then serviced as per a general service, without the setting up of gears and test ridden.
Good for: All you single speed or fixed wheel aficionados!
WHEELSET SERVICE - £80
A full service for a pair of wheels.
A full deep clean. Rotors cleaned and checked if applicable.
Wheels trued, spokes tensioned and nipples lubricated.
Hubs stripped and cleaned, bearings greased or replaced as needed.
Tyres cleaned and inflated. Tubeless sealant replenished if needed & rim tape checked.
Good for: Keeping your favourite hoops in top condition.
BASIC SERVICE - £50
The basic service is a tune up of a bike. It includes the following:
Headset, bottom bracket and cranks checked.
Gears and brakes tuned and adjusted as necessary.
Wheels checked for true, hubs checked for play.
Nuts and bolts checked, chain lightly oiled, tyres inflated and bike test ridden..
Good for: Bikes that need a quick tune up (perhaps before an event). Little and often...
BUILDING A NEW BOXED BIKE / PDI - £60 / £50
This is essentially the assembly of a new bike with a light basic service.
Bike assembled, wheels fitted.
Gears and brakes tuned and adjusted as necessary.
Nuts and bolts checked, chain lightly oiled if needed, tyres inflated and test ridden.
£10 premium for bikes arriving in the box.
Good for: New bikes that need assembly and an initial service.
E-BIKE SERVICING ADD ON - £35
Suitable for all bikes powered by Shimano, Bosch & Fazua systems.
Bike connected to software and error checks run.
A full physical connection check is carried out.
Software updated with new firmware installed as applicable.
Good for: All you E-Bike owners.
GROUPSET INSTALLATION - from £120
The fitting of a new groupset and the setup of brakes and gears accordingly. Please note that bleeding hydraulic brakes is an additional £15 per brake.
INSURANCE QUOTES - £70
The inspection of a bike to ascertain the approximate cost of repair. We will check the frame, fork and all components for damage and prepare an itemised quotation with inspection notes from a mechanic.
PRE-RACE INSPECTION / MINI BIKE SERVICE - £35
A quick but comprehensive service to ensure your bike is at its best.
Gears and brakes checked and adjusted.
Full bolt check.
Tyres inflated, drivechain lubricated and test ridden.
Available while you wait.
Good for: Peace of mind.
