One of the first customers we met when The London Cycle Workshop first opened its doors back in 2009 was one of the founding members of the Barnes Cycle Club, (BCC). With a passion for bikes, cycling and having fun together they soon became our favourite London cycle club.

To help support the club we have always offered a club discount - as we have for other clubs and London cycling groups - on parts and accessories in addition to offering advice and technical support.

Over the years some of our mechanics have joined some of the weekend or social rides, and when the 2012 Olympics came round we joined the club over at Hampton Court to watch the Olympic Time Trial in what turned out to be a great day out!

The club have regular weekend and midweek rides including a few foreign trips. Once a year comes the BCC Awards dinner, an event that we have often attended although usually for a beer and a dance after the main meal and awards ceremony. This year we were invited to the dinner…

With the meal out of the way the awards ceremony began and to our complete surprise The London Cycle Workshop was awarded a trophy as winner of the ‘Greatest Assistance to the Club’! It was and is a huge privilege to be formally recognised for contributing to the club by keeping all of the bikes running smoothly.
